This morning I was speaking with some other pastors in my area.  We were speaking about why we do what we do.  Why we are pastors.  While others mentioned calling, love, etc… I said
“I am simply trying to change the world.”

If I weren’t a Christian

June 15, 2011

This whole “Christian thing” as some call it has totally consumed my life. Everything I do is influenced by my belief in Jesus as the savior of the whole world. I try to make sure it impacts every part of my life and I work to make sure that my faith in Jesus [...]

For the past few years (yes, literally years) I have been playing a Facebook game, Mafia Wars.  This game is hosted by Zynga and played through your Facebook identity.  According to here Zynga made 270 Million dollars.  Mafia Wars is the largest game on Facebook and has more players than any other game.  I have [...]

Elf on a Shelf?

December 22, 2010
Tags: , ,

So this Elf on a Shelf thing is just weird for me.  Who thinks this up? Friends of mine told me it has been going on since the 1950′s.  Really? Whose idea was that?  Apparently this doll sits on your shelf and watches your kids and reports to Santa if the child is on the naughty [...]
