About Me
Your author is a lover of the risen Jesus. A husband, father, and pastor.
I have spent ten years in the youth ministry field and the last four years of that I have also been acting as the senior pastor of a church.
I have been married for 6 years and I have loved every minute of it. We have a beautiful son and a gorgeous daughter.
I serve a congregation between Pittsburgh and Erie and they are wonderful people, who put up with my pastoral antics and awkward sermons.
I am a graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
My preaching, writings, and thoughts are influenced by Jesus Christ and by the books I have read. Some of my favorite authors are Rob Bell, Mike Yaconelli, Donald Miller, Ted Dekkar, Francis Chan, Peter Rollins, and John Wesley.
In my ministry settings I have been called youthful, extraordinary, unorthodox, arrogant, ignorant, not father like, hypocritical, eccentric, and unique. My goal is to do ministry like Jesus, who was all of those things and more.
I have been compared to Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory, Rob Bell, Shane Claiborne, Will Ferrell, Joel Osteen, and Brian McClaren. Really, all I want to do is be like Jesus and whatever I get called along the way is okay with me.
