Caffeine vs. Jesus

The picture you see of the T-Shirt is a shirt I bought a few weeks ago from www.Thinkgeek.com I love this shirt. So comfortable and good quality. Also, the molecule is of Caffeine and I love Caffeine so it is wonderful. I wore this shirt the other day and all kind of people were asking me about it. What it was, what it meant, and where I got it from.
On the other hand, I also own this shirt, of Jesus.

I bought it once claiming it to be an evangelistic tool. It turns out, it doesn’t work for evangelism and only makes me look like a giant pumpkin.
It turns out, no one asks me about my Jesus shirt. When I wear my caffeine shirt random people on the street will ask me about it. When I wear my Jesus shirt no one asks me. Has the culture become numb to Jesus? Is this kind of Jesus offensive and makes no one want to know more about Jesus? Does a molecule of Caffeine make people curious while a rip-off of Reese’s frightens them away?
What does this mean for the shirts I wear? What does it mean for church marketing? What does it mean for evangelism?
