The Divine Crash

Dear Jesus, today as I stand up and preach your word (I hope) I pray for those who desperately need to hear a fresh word.  If we are honest, too often we hear about You, religion, faith, hope, and grace so much that we become numb to it.  Draw close to those you need you and remind them that you are an unpredictable God who will do whatever it takes to get a point across.  Draw near to those who need to know you word stands true and no matter how many times we hear the stories that they remain true. For those who have never heard your words, speak to them your words from the beginning, words that speak grace and hope to people who have never known what it means to trust in the one who holds tomorrow.  Lord, hear our prayer.
