Jesus is a Pro-Choice Escort
So the other day I am driving to seminary early in the morning and I saw something I had never seen. A protest at an abortion clinic.
First, I didn’t know there was a clinic so close to my seminary.
Second, there were people wearing shirts that said “Pro-Choice Escorts.” I had never seen this before so I turned to google and search for this. (note: I search with safe search because searching for Escort is not good.) Please, don’t flame me with comments about pro-life vs. pro-choice, I will just delete them. Read the whole post and then leave your thoughts.So here is the deal, these pro-choice escorts surround people going in to the abortion clinic and save them from the protestors. These people take the scared, frightened, verbally accosted, people and surround them with caring and comfort.
There is more Jesus in the escorts than in the protestors.
So first, to those of you who have questions, are hurting, scared, and considering abortion. I apologize for the ignorance of protestors.
Second, if you are a protestor. Stop protesting. Your hurled insults won’t solve anything, and serve to only inspire hate and bigotry. Instead, go find those hurting, scared people and love them like Jesus. Surround them with love, caring and honest answers.
If the pro-choice escorts are able to be caring and comforting while giving them lies about life and abortion why can’t we give them caring and comfort while giving people the truth about life and the giver of life.
Protestors don’t act like Jesus. Pro-choice escorts act like Jesus. This is a problem because scared hurting people want to be around people like Jesus.
If you hate abortion instead of standing around yelling, go love on people who would consider an abortion. When you share the love of Jesus with them then maybe they won’t want the abortion and if we do that then maybe the abortion clinics will go out of business because too many people love Jesus.
Or maybe I have no idea, all I know is that protesting doesn’t seem to be working and love, care, and hope do seem to be winning out.

Can we not protest without hurling insults? A lot of protesters in history have acted loving, kind and forgiving. Don’t assume that there’s only one way to protest.

The vast majority of protesters are not violent, do not hurl insults or yell and scream. Google “40 Days for Life” and read “Unplanned” by Abby Johnson.
“Clinic escorts” are escorting women into a clinic so they can kill their innocent unborn children. Can you honestly say Jesus would approve?
My goal here is not to take a stance on abortion. My goal here is to say that we should not be surprised that compassion, hope, and care win over protesting. Even if that compassion, hope, and care lead people to “kill their innocent unborn children.” If compassion, hope and care worked for Jesus and it works for pro-choice escorts shouldn’t the Christians who have the keys to eternal life use the same techniques?

I would like to ask you to keep learning more about them. Clinic escorts do not lie about life or anything- they actually don’t talk about abortion at all when they walk women to the door. Who knows if the woman is there for an abortion or for a cancer screening? The clinic escorts don’t know. The most they talk about is the weather.
