A few Thoughts
This week I have finals for seminary and so I didn’t preach instead I had an amazing guest speaker. However, there is no podcast or notes, but I would like to offer a few thoughts.
What are you thankful for? This question gets thrown around a lot during this time of year. What if instead of making up answer we actually say what we are thankful for.
Sometimes if we are honest we don’t feel like we have anything to be thankful for. Sometimes we feel like therenis nothing to hope for or be thankful for.
When that happens sometimes we have to make a reason to have hope. It isn’t about pulling ourselves up by the bootstraps but it is about making a definitive choice to go on until we have hope and then we can go on because we have hope again.
So then, may you keep going on because Jesus has alreasy given you more reasons than you can fathom and sometimes the only way to see them is to keep going.
