The Divine Crash

Dear Jesus,

You have seen all things coming, you haven’t been surprised by any of this.  Right now I am about two weeks from starting my last year of seminary.  Three years ago I would never have believed I would be here, yet You knew, and you know what tomorrow holds.  Sometimes, if I am honest with myself I wonder why you brought me to this because I do not fit the mold of a pastor, maybe that is why you called me to this, to break the mold and create new molds?  Yet, You knew all of this the whole time, this is mind numbing to me.  The fact that you have a purpose for me is simply staggering.  Now, I only humbly ask that you would see me safely through this year and bring me painlessly to June 3rd 2011 so I can graduate.  Yet even as I pray these words my true passion is to be closer to you, no matter the cost.  May you help me to follow You wherever you lead me and in whatever way is best.
