What Jesus really meant?

One time Jesus says to his disciples that if they wanted to get into heaven they had to come as little children.

On my last Sunday at Tanoma the congregation presented me with an amazing gift. The cross that was handmade by a member of the congregation. This is a beautiful cross that stands just over five feet tall and weights about 50 pounds.

However, now this beautiful cross is sitting in my living room until we move. When I brought the cross in my son started chanting “big cross” over and over again. Within a few minutes after that my son was running around the cross in circles saying “I love cross”

At one point while he was running around the cross and said “cross empty” When my wife asked him “why is the cross empty?” He responded with “Jesus love”

Is this what Jesus meant by faith like a child? To simply fall in love with the fact that the cross is empty now because Jesus loves us?
