Today was great. We finished preaching through Matthew backwards, we started before Easter and now we talked about the Genealogies. On the surface this Genealogy looks boring, it is simply a list of people who are related to Jesus. Or is it more than that? You can listen to it here.

Last night we held a “Christmas Adam Service.” I call it that because Adam came before Eve. Holding our service on the 23rd allows the congregation (and the pastor) to spend Christmas even with their family. For this service I didn’t really give a sermon, instead I read a kid’s book to the people.
This Sunday’s sermon was great. It was the last Sunday before Christmas and except for the blizzard it went perfect. The sermon was based on the prophesy that Matthew quotes from Micah 5:2. Of course you can listen to the sermon here.
