This weekend I had the joy of speaking to a group of nearly 50 teens at the Grace UMC fall retreat. The theme was Rewind and we studied the book of Genesis.

I had a teacher in 11th grade who would tell me “You don’t know what you don’t know.”  I always thought that was true, until this morning.  Now I wonder if sometimes we do know what we don’t know.

I love talking to High School kids about Jesus.  Every year for the last 5 years I have spoken at the Fall Retreat of Grace UMC.  This year is no different and when I speak I will be talking about the idea of rewinding the clock.

In my congregation I lead the youth group.  For youth group we watched the Skit Guys video “God’s Chisel”

Many people in seminary tell me that anything less than a “B” is not an acceptable grade, that good pastors get a “B” or above. My question has always been why?
